10:15 on a Saturday night

Or more like 1am on an Easter Monday morning. Am coming to the conclusion that insomnia is not helped by drinks containing taurine :) Still have finally managed to start cleaning the house in preparation for my Mums impending visit.

Suppose Id better try wind down soon or Blake & I will never make it to the Jamba Samba Band at St Ives. Now Im hoping its as much fun as it sounds seeing as the Easter egg hunt was a complete washout. I had my reservations about a group in a church hall but the promised bouncy castle & bacon butties persuaded me to give it a go! The morning didnt get off to the best start. I stood on a plug (not sure whether it was a good thing that it was the other foot to the one I got glass in during the week, thought Id stood on a very sharp stone :) so late & limping we made it to said church hall to be handed a scavengar hunter type sheet- with religious clues :( - & be told people might meet up at the end back in the hall, it might be a good idea for you to join someone else. Who exactly the gaggle of laughing departing women, the benign looking couple. After missing the first two clues (I *&^ing hate scavengar hunts, this was not the sedate hidden eggs in the churchyard Id imagined) Blake & I broke away to play in the park & do a bit of shopping. We had a lovely time in the park, being quite early it was only us until Tallulah, her chav Mum & her chainsmoking Granny crashed the party.

Im so glad its lovely & sunny else I think I might cry. I started talking to a guy online who reminds me of who I used to be. Dont think he quite understood when I said him describing a gig made me feel homesick. I should be OK shouldve got through all the tough stuff. Blakes getting to be far more fun now & theres going to be so much new stuff I can show him/ teach him whilst I get to act like a big kid & see the world through new eyes. Yeah sometimes itd be great to have someone to share Blake with the burden the joy but for now as the online chap said "Blakes your sin" (sic)
